Dr May has wide experience with the various knee replacement techniques which have evolved over many years.

Many models have been burdened by non anatomic designs which have limited function and durability.

With these models activities post surgery were limited and longevity of the prosthesis survival often limited.

The Medial-Pivot knee shown has unsurpassed long term results.

For the past twenty years Dr May has been involved in developments and upgrading with what has become known as "the High Performance Knee".

Dr May has visited and worked with Dr David Blaha in Newark, USA.

Dr Blaha developed and produced the Medial Pivot Knee.

Over the last 20 years this Knee has produced outstanding functional and durable results, with a now 98.8% survival at twenty years as well as a high degree of patient satisfaction with improvement in quality of life and activities of daily function.
